Vegan cheese ball with nuts and herbs

Time:  5 minutes + 30 refrigeration

Yield:  6 servings

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup LeGrand cheese of your choice 
  • 1 tsp. dijon mustard 
  • 2 tbsp. nutritional yeast
  • 2 tbsp. LeGrand Pesto of your choice 
  • 1 clove garlic 
  • 1 tablespoon water 
  • 2 tbsp. finely chopped basil 
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped chives 
  • Roasted almonds and hazelnuts for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a blender, combine cheese, mustard, nutritional yeast, pesto, garlic, and water until smooth. 
  2. Using a lightly greased pan, form a ball (or several small balls) of cheese. 
  3. Roll the ball in basil, chives, and nuts to cover the entire surface. 
  4. Refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving and enjoy!
