Decadent Caramelized Onion and Vegan Cheese Sandwich

  • 4 slices of bread of your choice toasted and buttered 
  • 1 red onion minced
  • 1 white onion, minced
  • 1 cup of leek, minced
  • 3 tbsp (45g) of LeGrand cheese of your choice
  • 1 tbsp LeGrand salted butter
  • 1 Tomato sliced (optional)
  • 1 cup of Arugula  
  • 1 tbsp (45g) of Dijon Mustard

The perfect combination of caramelized onions and leeks & creamy and gooey vegan LeGrand cheese between two crispy toasted sourdough bread slices.   1. Cook and season your onions and leeks until translucent, let it cool a bit
  2. Toast and butter your bread and spread the mustard 
  3. Spread Le Grand cheese of your choice generously
  4. Add the slices of tomato
  5. Add a thick layer of onion mix
  6. Top with the other slice of bread
