Combat ready salad

Time: 15 minutes

Yield:  2 large servings (or 4 small)


  • 4 cups spinach minced
  • 1 cup radicchio, minced
  • 1 cup dandelion, minced (optional)
  • 1 cup zucchini, grated 
  • 2 avocados, cubed
  • 1 cup fermented vegetables (optional see our Youtube channel: Eat & Heal)
  • 3 tbsp minced olives of your choice
  • 3 green onions, minced
  • 1 tsp of dulse in flakes 
  • ½ white onion, minced
  • 1 garlic clove, minced (optional)
  • The juice of one large lemon
  • Sea salt and pepper to taste

*Note that this recipe does not contain any LeGrand product, originally. That said, you can add any LeGrand pesto or our delicious chimichurri, to add extra kick to this recipe.

Eating a colourful variety of locally grown food during winter can seem to be a bit tricky at first… But fear no more! Our cofounder Bernard likes to support local farmers by creating his famous winter salad recipe! This delectable salad can be made in under 15 minutes and is PACKED with nutrient-dense and crunchy radishes. 


  1. Toss everything for a lot longer than you would for a salad with oil because you have to break the avocado a bit to create the creamy vinaigrette feel.
