Cheeseburger salad with Mac ‘N Cheeze sauce

INGREDIENTS

  • 200g meat or vegan alternative of your choice
  • 1/2 iceberg lettuce, washed and chopped
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 4 sweet pickles, sliced
  • Mac ‘N Cheeze sauce (quantity according to your preference)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Add the “meat” and cook according to package instructions, until browned and cooked through.
  2. Meanwhile, prepare the vegetables. Arrange the lettuce in the bottom of a large bowl.
  3. Arrange the tomato slices, red onion pieces and pickle slices on top of the lettuce.
  4. Once the “meat” is cooked, arrange it on top of the vegetables in the bowl.
    Drizzle the salad with Mac ‘N Cheeze dressing to taste.
  5. Toss lightly to distribute the dressing.
