Macaroni with plant-based “meat”

INGREDIENTS
- 350g of macaronis
- 200g of plant-based ground “meat”
- 1 pouch of Mac ‘N Cheeze Original sauce
- 200g of diced tomatoes, drained
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
A creamy and indulgent macaroni, topped with a savoury plant-based “meat” and diced tomatoes. Our Mac ‘N Cheeze Original sauce adds creaminess and sweetness, for a comforting dish that the whole family will love.
INSTRUCTIONS
- Bring to a boil a large pot of salted water. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and reserve.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Add the plant-based ground “meat” and cook for 4-5 minutes, breaking it appart using a spatula. Stir in the diced tomatoes and cook for 2 minutes to warm through. Add the macaroni.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Transfer the pasta to an oven-safe dish, top with the Mac ‘n Cheeze Original Sauce, and bake for 5–7 minutes until the surface is lightly golden.
- Divide the macaroni among plates. Add salt and pepper to taste.
