Arrabbiata spaghetti with spicy olives and jalapenos pesto

INGREDIENTS
- 400g of spaghetti
- 1 pouch of spicy olives and jalapenos pesto
- 100g of pitted black olives, sliced
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- 1 bunch of fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 200g of Mac ‘N Cheeze Sriracha sauce (if you feel cheezy)
Spaghetti flavored with our spicy olives and jalapenos pesto, topped with pitted olives and fresh parsley. For an even more indulgent touch, top the dish with our Mac ‘N Cheeze Sriracha sauce, which adds a spicy, creamy kick.
INSTRUCTIONS
- Bring to a boil a large pot of salted water. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain, reserving a bit of the cooking water.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced olives and sauté for 2 minutes to release their aroma.
- Reduce the heat to low, add the spicy olives and jalapenos pesto to the skillet and stir gently. Add the spaghetti and mix well. If needed, add a bit of the reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce.
- Baked option (optional) : Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Transfer the pasta to an oven-safe dish, top with the Mac ‘n Cheeze Sriracha Sauce, and bake for 5–7 minutes until the surface is lightly golden.
- Divide the spaghetti among plates and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Add salt and pepper to taste.
